Welcome to our Music School

Established in 1999, we are Northampton’s leading private music school with excellent 5 star reviews. Situated in the St James area of town where there is adequate on-street parking, the deceptively large building has four teaching rooms, a waiting area and reception. Entrance can only by gained by staff and students with a security card thus creating a safe environment for all.

Our teachers are DBS checked, have completed the relevant safe-guarding courses and have excellent references. They are experienced musicians who provide the highest quality of instruction in their subjects. Most have taught at Perfect Notes Music School for several years and many perform regularly at local venues.

We teach many instruments including Piano, Electric Keyboard, Organ, Flute, Recorder, Violin and Guitar. We also offer Music Theory lessons for those who require Grade 5 quickly, and we can assist with GCSE and ‘A’ Level exams.

We believe everyone has the ability to learn, read and play music; you can start with us as an absolute beginner with no previous musical knowledge and progress to the level you wish to attain. Lessons are tailored to suit the age and interest of the student.

We stage regular concerts in aid of local charities and all students are given the opportunity to perform in front of family and friends. This provides essential experience for aspiring musicians to perform in public and helps to build confidence for life.
