The village
of Suckley

Suckley Church in 1998. (c) 1998 and 2000 Keith BramichWelcome to the website for the Worcestershire village of Suckley! Some of the information you'll find here is historical, and some is quite new. Both have the distinction of being part of what is probably the very oldest village website in the United Kingdom, first appearing in 1995. We've had a few years now to get used to the internet - to the steady flow of requests from people building family trees, to visits from well-informed foreign tourists to The Nelson Inn (asking to hear the live music) and to The Cross Keys Inn (asking to see the well) and to many fascinating messages left by visitors to the website from all over the world. You can use our forum to upload photos of Suckley.

Please note that because of COVID19, the December 2020 / January 2021 issue of The Sphere will only be printed and distributed on paper with limited circulation. You can however read it here.

(c) 1999 Keith BramichClick on the links from this page to find out about Suckley - its history, the village shop, the Worcestershire Way, local businesses, to read news about the village, to find out what's happening, to see many photos of our beautiful village, and to hear music and sounds - Arthur Bancroft playing the musical saw, the Church clock chiming and the village bellringers!

If you've never been to Worcestershire or to Suckley, we hope that you'll have the chance to visit our village in person, one day. In the mean time, we hope you enjoy exploring this information online.

This site is dedicated to dear friends Anne and Terry Donovan who lived for their many happy years spent in Suckley.
